Who’s Hiring in This Economy? Vincent Hills Quarry Will Hire 120 Workers.
If approved, the proposed Vincent Hills Quarry will hire more than 120 workers.
With an annual payroll of approximately $7.4 million when the quarry is fully operational, Vincent Hills will quickly begin hiring heavy equipment operators, mechanics, plant production workers, plant maintenance, and administrative personnel, as well as roughly 10 employees in plant management.
And the jobs are well-paying ones, with an hourly rate of $15/hour for administrative personnel up to $28/hour for certain mechanics. When benefits and employment taxes are factored in, those numbers increase to $22/hour and $35.33/hour, respectively.
